I Ride with Faith

Get Involved

As a nonprofit organization, FETC is in existence because of the time and generosity of others throughout Effingham county and surrounding communities. We continue to need your care and support.volunteers

There are a wide range of opportunities for individuals, families, church groups, clubs, schools and businesses to take an active role in a way that is the most meaningful to them. As a 501(C) (3), all donations are tax-deductible.

We hope you will explore some of the ways you can help FETC continue its rich heritage of helping people of all ages and disabilities achieve the extraordinary physical and psychological benefits of therapeutic horseback riding and assisted activities. Additionally, we are always open to ideas to generate sustainable ways we can deepen our program and continue to play an integral role in the lives of our students.

Donations

volunteersDirect donations to FETC help keep the center operational and our services free. You can donate any dollar amount- even a small donation has a big impact.

We make it easy to donate by using PayPal. No account is necessary and it is quick, easy and convenient. Donations are also accepted via mail. Simply drop a check in the mail to our postal address.

YOU SEARCH OR SHOP...
WE GIVE!
Search the Web now Money-saving coupons
Raise money for Faith ETC (Guyton GA) just by searching the web and shopping online!

Supporters can also help make a difference by using GoodSearch for all internet searches and GoodShop for your internet purchases. For each search, we receive a penny. I know it doesn't sound like much, but if just 100 supporters use GoodSearch for 1,000 internet searches each throughout the year, we have made a minimum of $1,000! Those searches can add up. If you like to shop online, use GoodShop to make your purchases and we can earn a percentage of each online shopping experience.

Want to shop locally and still support FETC? Buy a Traffic Invasion card and $10 goes toward our programs and you save at local retailers throughout the year. Visit their website to learn more and buy a card for you, your friends and family members. The more you purchase the more we earn.

Wish List

In order to keep costs down, FETC has created a Wish List that includes many items. Some are large and some are small. Items include things like a tractor, Handi-house, inkjets, envelopes, craft supplies and even postage stamps. We also have a list of potential projects for young men who are working towards being an Eagle Scout. Your generosity in giving even the smallest donation of money or items from our Wish List, helps us meet our our goal to keep our programs free.

Horse Head ClubHorse Head Club

The Horse Head Club is an easy way to help us purchase supplies that FETC uses on a daily basis for keeping our animals happy and healthy. Our friends at Effingham Tractor Supply and Lovett's Tradin' Post in Rincon have joined with FETC to make donating easy.

Simply take one of the horse heads, check the product you want to purchase for FETC and hand it to the cashier. The cashier will keep the horse head and give you a receipt for the purchases. One of our representatives will come in each week to pick-up the donations from the store.

It is simple, quick and 100% tax deductible.

Adopt-a-HorseVictoria & Cody

You can also adopt one of our six horses here at Twin Pines Farm. This program has some fabulous benefits for the adopting family. It's like owning your own horse without the work and you help us help the children, adults and veterans we serve.

There are three levels of adoptive sponsorship:

  • Level 1- Maintenance cost for a year, grain and hay only.
  • Level 2- Maintenance cost for a year, grain, hay, farrier, and annuals.
  • Level 3- Maintenance cost for a year, grain, hay, farrier, annuals, and bedding.

Levels 1-3 include a plaque with a picture of the adoptive sponsor and their horse mounted on the stall door for the duration of hte sponsorship. You may also add a name in memory of a loved one on the plaque. In addition, you receive adoption papers and a certificate suitable for display in your home or office showing that you care and are a supporter of FETC.

Additional thanks for each level are:

  • Level 1- a pony birthday party at Twin Pines Farm during the adoption year. The adopting person/family may groom or ride their adopted horse once per month. (By appointment only for 1 hour)
  • Level 2- a pony birthday party at Twin Pines Farm during the adoption year. The adopting person/family may groom or ride their adopted horse twice per month. (By appointment only for 1 hour)
  • Level 3- a pony birthday party at Twin Pines Farm during the adoption year. The adopting person/family may groom or ride their adopted horse three times per month. (By appointment only for 1 hour)
