Horses for Heroes

Equine-Assisted Activities and Therapies (EAAT) has shown to be extremely beneficial for individuals diagnosed with posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), and other physical, social, cognitive, and emotional conditions. Those with physical impairments can benefit with improved core strength, flexibility, and confidence.

Feeling a sense of community with staff, volunteers, and the horses helps to break patterns of trauma and disconnection. Bonding & connecting with such a large animal can be extremely satisfying which leads to hope and healing. Visit the Wounded Warrior Project for more information on payment assistance and contact Faith Equestrian with any program interest questions.
